New Seaton

New Seaton by Towerhill is a freehold townhouse community located in Rural Pickering, north Pickering, within the broader Seaton master-planned community. Developed by Tower Hill Development Corporation, the project offers 3- to 4-bedroom townhomes with 3 to 5 bathrooms and ceilings starting from 9 feet. Sales began in April 2023, construction started in June 2023, and the community was completed in August 2024.

For qualifying new-home purchases, the current Ontario HST rebate program generally applies to agreements entered into with a builder between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027. Under the Ontario Enhanced New Housing Rebate, qualifying homes valued up to $1 million may receive up to $80,000, representing 100% of the 8% provincial portion of HST; homes above $1 million and up to $1.5 million may qualify for a flat $80,000 rebate, with reduced amounts applying to certain higher-value homes up to $1.85 million. Ontario’s New Home Affordability Payment may provide eligible purchasers with up to an additional $50,000, subject to the applicable requirements and interaction with federal GST/HST rebates. Eligibility is not automatic and depends on the purchaser, home, agreement date and other program conditions.
