Lucchetta Homes is a family-owned homebuilder established in the 1960s by Ugo Lucchetta, with more than 60 years of experience in residential construction and land development. The company continues its family legacy under the leadership of second-generation principals Robert and Ed Lucchetta, maintaining a focus on thoughtful design, construction quality, and homeowner satisfaction. Based in Welland, Ontario, Lucchetta Homes develops residential communities throughout the Niagara Region, including Welland, St. Catharines, Pelham, and surrounding areas. Its portfolio includes bungalows, detached homes, and townhomes, with particular emphasis on active-adult lifestyle communities for people aged 50 and above, retirees, and downsizers. Home designs feature practical main-floor living, open-concept layouts, and architectural details intended to balance comfort and functionality. The company also emphasizes craftsmanship, energy efficiency, and personalized customer service, supporting homeowners throughout their homebuying experience. A notable sustainability milestone was its involvement in constructing Canada’s first Net Zero Ready home under the Canadian Home Builders’ Association’s pilot program. More recently, the builder received industry recognition, including Builder of the Year at the 2025 Niagara Home Builders’ Association Awards of Excellence and ENERGY STAR Builder of the Year for Small/Custom Homes in 2025. Its ongoing focus is on creating carefully planned Niagara communities that support comfortable, independent living and long-term homeowner needs.
