Insoho Developments is the evolution of a real estate development business founded by George Herczeg, who established the company after coming to Canada in 1948 and built a long-standing history of neighbourhood revitalization in Toronto. Ron Herczeg, who joined his father after working with a U.S. brokerage firm, currently continues the company’s urban-renewal approach. Insoho states that its team has over four decades of development experience and has delivered a diverse portfolio of infill communities, housing and condominium projects across Toronto. Its portfolio includes detached homes, traditional and back-to-back townhomes, low-rise communities, condominiums and purpose-built rental buildings, with current and completed communities located primarily throughout Toronto, including North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke. The company focuses on infill development within established neighbourhoods, using existing infrastructure and seeking harmony between new development and its surrounding environment. Its development expertise covers acquisitions, urban planning and architectural design, municipal approvals, interior design, construction management, marketing and sales, and after-sales/client care. Insoho’s completed and current portfolio includes communities such as Imagine Condos, Highland Creek Collection, Windwood Village, Inspire Towns, WE26 and The Winston. Its projects have also received award nominations, including The Winston Collection as a finalist in the 2026 BILD Awards, reflecting its ongoing focus on urban residential development and design.
