Icon Homes is a Toronto-based homebuilder and developer with a history that traces back to 1963, while its modern family-led homebuilding operation was established by the Brown family in the early 1990s. With more than 30 years of homebuilding experience under its current Icon Homes legacy, the company has focused on creating thoughtfully planned residential communities across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The company’s leadership has included Kevin Brown and Stephen Brown as Principals/Owners, alongside Kevin Watt, Vice President of Construction, according to industry coverage. Icon specializes in infill community development, integrating new homes into established neighbourhoods while maintaining access to existing amenities and infrastructure. Its portfolio includes townhomes, semi-detached and detached homes, with current and past communities located in areas including Pickering, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Toronto and North York. The builder emphasizes craftsmanship, quality construction, integrity, transparency and respect, with an approach that combines contemporary design with functional family-oriented living. Icon Homes also places strong emphasis on customer-focused service through its iCARE™ program, supporting purchasers from the initial buying process through and beyond closing. Its construction approach has included efforts to exceed local building-code expectations and incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable building measures, demonstrated through projects such as Market District and Forest District in Pickering.
