Coughlan Homes was established in 1958 by founder Jerry Coughlan, who began with a real estate development company and built the company’s first home in East York before expanding into Scarborough, Pickering and Ajax. In 2009, leadership passed to the next generation of the Coughlan family, with Jerry Coughlan’s four daughters assuming leadership alongside the company’s management team.
